RALEIGH -- A Wake County high school band will accept an invitation today to perform in the London New Year’s Day parade in 2014.

Our very own Chief Meteorologist Gary Stephenson will be on hand when Leesville High School Band is officially invited by the former Lord Mayor of the City of Westminster.

The parade will include more than 8,000 performers.
