CONCORD, N.C.--News 14 Carolina brought home three silver awards from the Radio Television News Directors Association Awards (RTDNAC).

The ceremony was held at the Speedway Club on Saturday.

Anchor Heather Waliga and senior photographer AJ Chodora won for their story about an Indian Trail toddler's battle with a rare and deadly illness.

Senior political reporter Loretta Boniti won for her coverage of decision 2012.

News 14 Carolina web staff members Mike Cartelli, Ben McNeely, Samantha Shepard, Joshua Kleinstreuer and Carly Swanson won silver for web coverage.
