APEX—An Apex teenager has died following an apparent overdose of LSD.

Investigators say Timothy Casteneda, 17, was found unresponsive in a wooded area behind Beaver Creek Cinemas on October 6. He died this past weekend.

Apex police say their investigation led them to the home of 17-year-old Ryan Laches. He is charged with two counts of selling a controlled substance to Casteneda.

The case has been turned over to the Wake County District Attorney's office.
