RALEIGH--An event that gives locals and visitors a taste of downtown Raleigh begins Monday.
This will be the fourth year for Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week.
Event organizers say 31 restaurants will participate this year giving patrons the chance to enjoy a variety of different meals and special items they wouldn't normally see on a menu.
Business owners say it's not just about the exposure, it's about making downtown Raleigh a food destination.
"It seems every year we're getting a more diverse audience. We have guests that come in really looking for an experience, really interested in what we're doing and really interested in downtown," said Patrick Ewald, General Manager of Sitti.
