PRINCETON, N.C.--A man is in police custody in connection with a double shooting in Princeton on Saturday.

Dana Atkinson, 38, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Police said he shot two people during an argument. Atkinson is being held in the Johnston County Jail on a $1.1 million dollar bond.

No details have been released on when he will appear in court.
