RALEIGH – Two juveniles were detained today in connection with the murder of a Raleigh teen.

Police said they are a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old.

Fernando Garibay-Benitez, 16, was found shot and killed on Wednesday near Lexington on the Green Apartments in North Raleigh. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Garibay-Benitez would have been a sophomore at Millbrook High School this year.
