FORT BRAGG – Fort Bragg welcomed Brigadier Gen. Jeffrey Colt Friday. Colt came to Fort Bragg after serving as the Deputy Commanding General for the support of the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Colt has had several assignments with the airborne and special operations community between Fort Bragg and Campbell.

"It's a great honor to come back to Fort Bragg. I have been away for a decade from Fort Bragg and paratroopers and this is where it all started, learning to be a paratrooper, being around the global response mission. I am excited to be back," said Colt.

Colt said that his main goals are to always support soldiers and their families, making sure that they get the care that they need and benefits that they deserve. He said he also looks forward to getting to know the communities surrounding Fort Bragg.
