FAYETTEVILLE—One person is dead and another injured in a shooting in Fayetteville Tuesday afternoon.

Police say it happened at the intersection of Ramsey Street and Rosehill Road around 3:30 p.m. Authorities say they were initially called to the area in response to a business robbery. When officers arrived, they saw that two people had been shot, one of the victims was killed.

There are no suspects in custody.

The investigation is ongoing and the identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of the victim's family.
