RALEIGH – One of Raleigh's most congested intersections reopened today. The Hillsborough Street roundabout near N.C. State's campus was closed for construction last night so it could be reduced from two lanes to one lane.

Officials said they hope the changes will help reduce accidents. The circle has seen more than 100 accidents in two years.

The project was supposed to start on Friday, but was canceled due to bad weather.
