DUNN, N.C. – Authorities are investigating a wreck that killed a 13-year-old boy Thursday morning in Dunn.

Caden Allen was killed and his father injured in the accident that happened at the intersection of Highways 55 and 242.

The state highway patrol says a truck driver hit the pair. Investigators believe the driver did not stop at a stop sign.

Allen died from the impact. His father and the truck driver were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
