GOLDSBORO — It was a night of art and wine in downtown Goldsboro Thursday.

The Arts Council of Wayne County opened its doors for the first reception in its new building. The Carolina Country exhibit showcases 3D farmhouses, watercolors and pottery. The council said this is expected to draw in more people and a younger crowd to the arts council.
