PEMBROKE, N.C.--Authorities in Robeson County are now investigating the death of a four-year-old Pembroke boy as a homicide.

The Fayetteville Observer reports that Dustin Oxendine was found dead when paramedics responded to his home Thursday afternoon.

Oxendine was there with a 16-year-year old babysitter and another child.

One of them called his mother to tell her he wasn't breathing, and then called 911.

Authorities are waiting for autopsy results, but they said Oxendine did have bruises on his body.

No arrests have been made.
