CARY, N.C. -- Authorities are trying to figure out how a car ended up in the backyard of a Cary home. They say a young girl was playing in the yard on Davis Drive when she saw the car hop an embankment and hit some trees before landing on its roof.

Other witnesses said the car was shaking violently just before the crash. The driver is expected to be OK.
