FAIRMONT, N.C. -- Friday night, friends and family members will be able to pay their respects to two Robeson County teenagers who lost their lives in a car accident earlier this week. Tyreke Addison, 18, and Nokolma Hunt, 18, were traveling with friends when their car ran off the road in Fairmont Monday.

It will be a weekend filled with remembrance for the two recent graduates of Fairmont High School. Hunt and Addison died when their car ran off Highway 41 in Fairmont and struck a tree. The two were lifetime friends.

"Best friends, brother, since first grade, when one did something, the other done something," said Hunt's mother Vickie. "When one went somewhere, the other one done something."

Hunt and Addison were skilled athletes for Fairmont High School. They made a mark both on and off the field.

"They played and lived for Fairmont," said Athletic Director Michael Baker. "They always wanted Fairmont to be the best and it showed on the field."

The area they proudly represented will come together on behalf Hunt and Addison, paying tribute to the lives of two young men gone too soon.

"It's like a piece of your heart being broken off and gone," said Vickie Hunt. "It's like in the pit of your stomach just hurts."

Three other teenagers were in the car at the time of the crash and survived.

Friday's visitation will be held at Fairmont High School at 6 p.m. Funeral services will take place at the school on Sunday at 2 p.m. for Addison and 3 p.m. for Hunt.
