GOLDSBORO, N.C. -- Several new businesses will soon be opening in downtown Goldsboro.

The Downtown Goldsboro Development Corporation says business-owners were enticed because the Center Street Streetscape project which aims to beautify and revitalize the area.

A total of five have applied, all planning to locate on Center Street.

Three of them are restaurants, another is retail, and the other is an art-based business.
