RALEIGH—Wake County school board members will talk about capping one of the newest school's when they meet next week.
Superintendent Tony Tata said Walnut Creek Elementary is more than 150 students over capacity. At Friday's weekly media briefing, Tata spoke about why the school is in such demand.
“We've created high demand school and we are resourcing that school because of the programming there," said Tata.
If board members vote to cap enrollment, it takes effect immediately.
