CHARLOTTE -- The Charlotte chapter of the NAACP is gearing up for another rally Monday to protest against proposals that would overhaul Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. A coalition of organizations rallied Saturday.

The proposals include the closure of a number of schools and some families on the west side of the city say they are being unfairly targeted.

The NAACP and its legal counsel say they will unveil a proposal at 6 p.m. at Little Rock AME Zion Church.
