WAKE COUNTY, N.C. -- The time to voice your opinion is now. Sample maps showing options for school zoning in Wake County are up on the school board website.

Wake County Public Schools presented the maps to the Student Assignment Committee at the board of education meeting on Tuesday.

The maps show different ways schools could be zoned and the hope to achieve diverse schools through parent choice. Comments on the maps will be accepted online through Aug. 29.
