FAYETTEVILLE — The N.C. Veterans Park re-opens Thursday in Fayetteville.
It is the first state park dedicated to Military veterans. The park is located next to the city's Airborne and Special Operations Museum. The park has been closed since Jan. 3 for the installation of a new floor inside the building.
During that time, the city also made other corrections and adjustments inside the park's center. The park officially opened last July and honors all branches of the Military.
The park is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5.
