CHARLOTTE--Members of the Charlotte in 2012 Convention host committee held a citywide day of service.

Committee members teamed up with the United Way and other groups to complete service projects all over Charlotte.

Work included building a multi-generational playground and a new sense and science garden at First Ward Elementary School.
