Johnson C. Smith University president shows support for streetcar project

CHARLOTTE -- Johnson C. Smith University's president, Dr. Ronald Carter, is throwing his support behind the streetcar project.

A news conference is scheduled for Thursday afternoon at JSCU, where Carter will publicly announce his support for the $119 million project.

Carter is the chairperson of the Streetcar Advisory Committee.
