CHARLOTTE -- Dozens of bicyclists braved the rainy weather Wednesday for a worthy cause. "Trips for Kids Charlotte" held its charity bike ride.

The non-profit provides recycled bicycles and ride programs for area youth.

"This is amazing. We're all volunteer non-profit," said Paul Fricke the President of Trips for Kids Charlotte. "Somehow just good things seem happen to us and this is one of those great things. This is the most incredible bike donations we've ever had."

Twenty five bikes and helmets were donated Wednesday.
