Raleigh residents to vote on transportation bonds

In a five to three vote Tuesday, the Raleigh City Council approved the addition of a $75-million transportation bond to the October ballot. The ballot is already stacked with a bond for Wake County Schools valued at $810 million. Leaders said they are worried about having to compete with the school bond but others said there's room on the ballot for both.
