CHARLOTTE – Members of different faiths gathered to learn more about others' beliefs Friday night in the third annual Sermon Swap.
Members of the Briar Creek Community Church sang at the Sabbath service at Temple Beth El in an effort to improve race relations and understanding of different ethnicities.
“What we're striving for is to not just have one night or weekend of exemplifying the relationships we want to exist in the city across lines of difference, we want that to be beyond one Martin Luther Ling weekend,” Rabbi Judy Schindler said.
There will be other Sermon Swaps planned by Crossroads Charlotte. The events are free and open to the public.
