DURHAM – A Durham jury found the former Duke lacrosse accuser guilty of five misdemeanors Friday stemming from a domestic dispute in February.

Crystal Mangum was sentenced to 90 days in jail but was released on time served. A mistrial was declared on the more serious, charge of felony arson.

Mangum was accused of setting her boyfriend's clothes on fire in a bathtub with her three children in the home.

The public first became aware of Mangum in March 2006 when Attorney General Roy Cooper said she falsely accused three Duke lacrosse players of rape.
